Torreón Countryside Club Reinaugurates Pool Area
The Torreón Countryside Club reopened its pool area with innovative equipment that positions this space as one of the best of its kind in the Lagunera Region and northern Mexico.
Yesterday afternoon, José Rubén Cordero Sánchez Aldana, Chairman of the Administration Board of the Torreón Countryside Club, announced the details of the executed project, accompanied by José Antonio Safa Serrato, Vice President, Julián Alba González, General Director, and Mauricio Villalobos de León, President of the Construction Committee.
Julián Alba explained that this work is the realization of a dream to position the Club at the forefront.
The Torreón Countryside Club will continue with the renovation of the entrances, work that will begin in a month, and the gymnasium in August or September, next to the pool area.
"We are finishing one of the three proposed stages in a remodeling project, which is the pool area. We are very happy because here we can see the effort of all the members materialized, this is where the results of their unity can be seen. Two years ago we had a meeting where we were proposing all of this, moments when the Club requires the support, enthusiasm, and unity of its members since all of this generates an economic contribution, but only in this way can the Torreón Countryside Club stay at the forefront and achieve these results."
He highlighted that it is a very particular and functional work. "Today we can see a top-level remodeling in our pool area, a recreational, aquatic, social area, like no other in La Laguna or in many other cities. We are happy to be innovative in this, to provide this kind of results, and this is thanks to the support and unity of all the members."
An area of cabins and loungers was installed as it did not exist before. "It is a place where many members can gather in this part that very few pools have, this is resort-level. There is a snack area with air conditioning and a terrace with evaporative cooling, where there is a suitable variety of food for the place, very comfortable, with furniture. It is a space that can accommodate 90 diners and the other is the strong investment, which is the children's play area, brought from Holland. It was done thinking about the little ones, about young families who can have a top-level recreational place," he emphasized.
Every detail is taken care of, including the ambient sound, which is perfectly balanced for the entire area.
"This is part of innovation, where a significant amount of resources is invested, a place that has nothing to do with the golf course or tennis, it is the social part to which we are betting quite a lot," he concluded.
José Antonio Safa Serrato, Vice President of the Board, mentioned that this area has capacity for more than 200 people per day and the design was made by Fabio Correa from Mexico City.
