Latin America Amateur Championship 2018 (LAAC)

The first two rounds of the Latin America Amateur Championship 2018 (LAAC) had a positive outcome for the Peruvian delegation. Four out of the six national representatives made the cut at Prince of Wales Country Club in Santiago.

Luis Fernando Barco and Felipe Strobach finished in 28th place, with a score of 146 (+4), being the top-performing Peruvian players after the first two rounds.

Within the top 50 and ties, Julian Périco, with 150 (+8), and Patricio Freundt-Thurne, with the same score, also made the cut.

Alberto Menacho and Santiago Zubiate, on the other hand, did not have a good second round at LAAC 2018 and were eliminated from the tournament.

The third and fourth rounds of the LAAC 2018 will be played on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, with the golfers who made the cut.
