"I hope he is fully aware of the consequences of his actions off the field because it affects his performances on the field. If that's what he wants [to leave], then so be it. However, he must be fully aware of the repercussions. It will have an impact on the club's decision," said Kaká to Lance.

"I'm not only speaking to Cueva, but also to other players. Sometimes people tend to think that what they do on the field is their own business and that no one else should interfere. But we must understand that everything is closely linked to the player," added Kaká.

On the other hand, the World Cup winner with Brazil praised the playing style of Christian Cueva, who recently represented the Peruvian national team in the 2018 World Cup.

"I really like him as a player. He has a lot of talent and he demonstrates it on the field. I believe Cueva is an excellent player," concluded Kaká.
