Luka Modric, the symbol of Croatia to win their first World Cup in Russia 2018
The Croatian national team woke up happy in their retreat in Moscow, on the outskirts, after achieving the historic qualification for the final of Russia 2018, after defeating England in extra time.
The joy invades the networks. Messages from clubs, fans and Croatian players exalt the feeling of joy that has invaded them since Wednesday night.
"Good morning, you are not dreaming", expresses the official tweet of the Croatian Football Federation. "Croatia is in the final of the World Cup!", it exclaims next.
Mario Mandžukić, who will go down in history as the author of one of the most important goals in the history of Croatian football, wrote: "An afternoon and a series of feelings that we will never forget," captioning a photograph of the entire team, coaches and players, in front of their country's fans.
"It's incredible what the Croatian team can do. Perform, fight and never give up," expressed the captain, Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modrić.
Mateo Kovačić, who did not play any minutes in the match against England, emphasized: "All for one and one for all until the end! All for one and one for all, until reaching the final!"
