The Argentine legend attended the World Cup as a FIFA guest to support the 'Albiceleste' and host the program 'La noche del Diez'. Although it would not be the only task entrusted to the former player.
Before the start of the 2018 World Cup, Dinamo Brest from Belarus appointed Diego Maradona as the sports president of the institution. Apparently, the 'Pelusa' arrived at the tournament to sign players and Hirving Lozano would be one of the chosen ones.
"I liked Lozano from Mexico. I would take him, it all depends on the budget, but there is no problem, we will talk about it and I would take the Mexican", confessed the former footballer on the program broadcasted by 'Telesur'.
