The South Korea national team had a dignified participation in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, where despite not qualifying for the round of 16, they had the luxury of eliminating Germany, the defending champion, by defeating them 2-0 in the last match of Group F.
However, the fans of South Korea do not seem to be satisfied with the performance of their players in Russia 2018. They even expressed their displeasure on Friday, upon the arrival of the players in Seoul.
While the players of South Korea were receiving a small tribute for their performance in Russia 2018, a group of fans started to throw eggs and pillows with the flag of the United Kingdom.
It is worth mentioning that this is not the first time that the players of South Korea have gone through a similar situation. In 2014, after being eliminated from the World Cup in Brazil, the fans welcomed them by throwing traditional candies from their country.
