The Peruvian National Team is already traveling to our country after their participation in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. Before taking the flight, Paolo Guerrero regretted having to return earlier than planned.
"Unfortunately, we have to leave, it's something we didn't want, but that's football. Each one returns to their teams and we must continue to prove ourselves and work," he said on América TV.

"Beyond not achieving the goal, it's time to return to Peru. It's nice to be close to the family, because they are always by our side, just like our compatriots," said the bicolor striker.
Paolo Guerrero did not give details of his future with Flamengo, a club that would be interested in renewing his contract for a long period. But he said that he hasn't fulfilled his dream in the 2018 World Cup and hopes to take revenge in Qatar 2022.
"My dream was different. Playing in the World Cup was important, but my dream was always to aim higher," he pointed out. When asked about another World Cup, his answer was: "Yes, of course." He will reach the World Cup in Qatar at the age of 38.
