Croatia defeats Iceland 2-1 in the last match of Group D

The first goal was scored by Milan Badelj. The midfielder entered the penalty area unmarked and volleyed a rebound to score Croatia's goal at 53 minutes of a match with one eye on the result of the Nigeria vs Argentina match.

Iceland did not give up attacking and equalized at 76 minutes through a penalty kick. Gylfi Sigurdsson struck powerfully down the center of the goal to make it 1-1.

Iván Perisic scored the winning goal for Croatia at 90 minutes.
