Even with the 2018 World Cup taking place, clubs from around the world - especially European ones - have not lost focus on the upcoming season. Taking advantage of the transfer market opening, several teams have already incorporated important pieces in preparation for the next edition of the tournaments they will participate in.
On one hand, Inter Milan announced the signing of Belgian midfielder Radja Nainggolan, who comes from Roma, for a sum of 38 million euros. The 30-year-old midfielder, who was not called up by his national team for the 2018 World Cup, a decision heavily criticized by fans, had a high performance this season with the 'Loba' team that reached the Champions League semifinals.
On the other hand, Javier Pastore, who had little continuity during the last season with Paris Saint-Germain, was signed by Roma, which immediately used the money earned from Nainggolan's sale. The Argentine footballer, who was also not called up by his national team for Russia 2018, was signed by the Italian team for 24 million euros.
These are just two of the signings that have been made so far in the transfer period in Italian football, which has had the most movements since the end of the European season.
