South Korea supporters wearing Cruz Azul jersey

Hours before the match between South Korea and Mexico in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, photos have circulated on social media showing supporters of the Asian team wearing the Cruz Azul jersey.

It has been Mexican fans who have invited the South Koreans to wear the "lucky" jersey and have even boasted about their achievements.

User Carlos Shia posted a photo with a South Korean and attached the message that on day 13 of the World Cup, he had already done his job.

Another Mexican fan broke barriers and gave a Cruz Azul jersey to the son of Shin Tae-Yong, coach of the South Korean team.

This strategy by the Mexican fans was implemented prior to the match against Germany, where Juan Carlos Osorio's team achieved a surprising victory with a goal by Hirving Lozano.
