Joachim Löw, coach of the German National Team, who started the defense of the title achieved four years ago in Brazil by losing to Mexico on Sunday (0-1), admitted that this defeat "is disappointing" and that "losing the first game" is something absolutely "unusual" for them.

"Of course it's disappointing to have lost the game against Mexico. Losing the first game is an absolutely unusual situation for us," said the German coach.

But there always has to be a first time. It should be noted that Germany had won all their first matches in the last seven World Cups. We didn't show the game we have inside. We have to talk about it, but we're not going to fall apart

, commented Löw in an interview with the German Football Federation that was released this Monday at their concentration in Vatutinki, on the outskirts of Moscow.

"We have to learn from it and improve in the next game," said 'Jogi' about the next match in Group F for the 'Mannschaft', next Saturday, against Sweden, in which Germany will not have much margin for error.

"Now the players are quite down and very, very disappointed. But now we have to look forward and bring our game back. We have enough experience in managing defeats. And we will rise. But we have to win the next match," warned the last coach who won a World Cup.
