Many have wondered why Sony did not announce the PlayStation 5 at E3 2018. This has generated thousands of rumors on the Internet about what the Japanese company has planned for the successor of the PS4.
A report from Forbes not only indicates that Sony is planning to bring a console with the name of the PS5, but it is already in the development process. Apparently, the future PlayStation machine will have an architecture made by AMD.
According to the report, the PlayStation 5 would have an AMD Zen CPU, which is normally used for Ryzen desktop PCs. Additionally, it was added that it would have the new Navi technology in its GPU, designed exclusively for Sony.

For now, we must treat this information with caution, since the same author of the article does not know if the Zen chip and Navi technology would be integrated into the GPU or work separately. What is Sony planning for its new console?
