For many selections, choosing the 23 players who will go to the 2018 World Cup was a headache.

That was the case of England because they have more than one player per position due to their competitive league, but one of those who earned a spot after a great season with Manchester City was Fabian Delph.

The Manchester City full-back was one of the favorites of Gareth Southgate, coach of the England National Team, after winning the Premier League. While it is a great achievement, Fabian Delph attributes this success to his new habit.

For Delph, being part of the England National Team that will play in the 2018 World Cup is the result of his new lifestyle and the meditation he practices. "I stopped eating red meat. I changed my diet to be more balanced, healthier. Now, I eat more vegetables and reduce sugar," he confessed.

"Meditation has helped me tremendously. It is obvious that I have muscle injuries, but it is due to my age (28 years old). It's all about finding a balance. It was a matter of finding the right nutrition," added Fabian Delph.

It should be noted that Fabian Delph can also play in the midfield. In fact, the coach of the England National Team lined him up in that position against Costa Rica, in one of their last friendlies before the 2018 World Cup, where they will compete in Group G.
