The first rival that the Peruvian National Team will face in Russia 2018, Dinamarca, has defined the players who will participate in the World Cup. Åge Hareide, coach of the Danish team, announced the list with the 23 players who will be in the tournament.
Hareide had initially called up 35 players in the first days of May; later he reduced the squad to 27 and now he has cut 4 players, including Peter Ankersen, Mike Jensen, Andreas Bjelland, and Nicklas Bendtner, former Arsenal and Juventus forward.
When asked about the absences, especially Djelland and Bendtner, the coach commented that they would not arrive in good physical condition for the match against the Peruvian National Team.
"We don't believe they will be ready for the match against Peru, which will be very important for the qualification," Åge Hareide added in statements to the Danish Football Federation.
Players like Simon Kjaer, Kasper Schmeichel, Yussuf Poulsen, Nicolai Jørgensen, and Christian Eriksen make up the squad that will participate in the World Cup. It should be noted that Eriksen was not present in the goalless draw of his national team against Sweden.
On Saturday, June 9th, the Danish National Team will face Mexico and a week later they will start their participation in Russia 2018 when they face the team managed by Ricardo Gareca.
