The Uruguayan goalkeeper Fernando Muslera ensures that his team will play "with their hearts" until they reach the final of the 2018 World Cup in Russia. He also stated that he has recovered from a blow to one of his hands in previous days.

"I feel very good, every qualifier, every Copa America, every World Cup that I get to play with my national team (...). The hope is always there, with the heart until we reach the final," said the Celeste goalkeeper during the press conference after the training.

Regarding the blow he received in one of his hands during the previous preparation days, he indicated that he has recovered and apologized for the "uproar" that this news generated on social media.

Meanwhile, he did not miss the opportunity to express that in Russia, "with or without Salah," all teams will "give their best".

"Nowadays, with all the discussions, I believe that matches must be played. I can't tell you what will happen in Egypt. With or without Salah, it's a World Cup and everyone will give their best," he asserted.

On the other hand, midfielder Nahitan Nández said in a press conference that the Uruguayan team is "ready to become champions," but the World Cup "has to be played," and the squad is preparing for that.

About the style of play that Tabárez's team will employ, the Boca midfielder affirmed that "they now have more possession, more short passing game" due to the emergence of new players, including himself, "who have brought a different style of play with different characteristics."

Uruguay is training at the Celeste Complex, on the outskirts of Montevideo, with 26 players, of which three will be left out of the final roster.
