The first season of the StarCraft II Copa America has come to an end. The competition began on April 18th of this year and closed on May 6th. It was composed of four groups, from which only two qualified.
Peruvian player Eduard "Ryu" Condori was eliminated from the group stage but managed to advance to the losers' round, finishing in fourth place with a prize of $800. Mexico, on the other hand, reached the first position with Carlos "SpeCial" Tena Lopez.
The player had to face one of the most competitive players in the region: Diego "Kelazhur" Schwimer. Coincidentally, he is his friend and eternal rival in StarCraft II.
The final was a face-to-face confrontation between the Terran race. The Brazilian contender failed to succeed with his strategies and ended up losing four games to zero. Pablo "Cham" Blanco, also from Mexico, finished in third place after being eliminated by the Brazilian player.
