Nothing is defined yet and the Mexican National Team is working to form the best squad that will represent the country in Russia 2018. On this occasion, a committee of the Colombian coach, Juan Carlos Osorio, arrived at Ciudad Universitaria to continue their scouting for the World Cup.
Humberto Sierra, Luis Pompilio, Gerardo Torrado, and Deniss Te Kloese were the delegates of the Mexican National Team coach to observe the performance of the players from both Pumas and America.
"We have openly said that all players have the doors open for the National Team and it is clear that there are players who have been there throughout the process. We come to observe them to see their performance and to be close to them," said Torrado, the sports director of the Tricolor.
Similarly, the former player highlighted that when Juan Carlos Osorio announces the final list, there will be no doubt or surprise about the quality of the team that will be assembled for the summer event.
"The list will be announced on the designated date. As we know, the final list will consist of 23 players and the coach, along with his entire technical staff, has followed and accompanied the process of all the selected players. We believe that all the players we have are of quality and none of those on the list would be a surprise."
Prior to the match between the felines and the Azulcremas at the Olympic University, the executive spoke about the level of the players like Jesús Gallardo from Pumas.
"It is very important, we know that he is going through a great moment and we must take advantage of it. Now we will wait for everyone to finish their participation with their teams to prepare a better team that gets the results it deserves."
