One of the most popular animes of the 80s and 90s returns to accompany the excitement of the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
Super Champions or Captain Tsubasa has already introduced Oliver as the new player in town and Benji as the talented goalkeeper from the neighboring school.
In the first episode of Super Champions, Benji challenged the players from the other school to score a goal against him. The teams from different sports organized themselves to test their luck against the talented goalkeeper and this is how the competition unfolded.
In the original version of Captain Tsubasa, or as it is known in Spain, Oliver and Benji, there were fewer shots but some fans believe that the excitement and suspense of the old anime was handled much better. Here we leave the Latin American Spanish version for you to make your own comparisons.
The anime will consist of 128 episodes, giving fans many months to enjoy Oliver's journey to the top of international soccer. It may even have an unexpected twist to reach the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
