Japanese national football team chooses Rubin Kazan facilities for World Cup
The Japanese national football team has chosen the facilities of Rubin Kazan club -where Ecuadorian international Cristhian Noboa plays- to concentrate and train during their participation in the 2018 World Cup in Russia, which starts in 85 days.
The 'Samurai Blue' will have access to all areas of the venue: bedrooms, bathrooms, dining room, gym, pool, conference room, trophy room, dressing rooms, athletic track, and training fields of the club that participates in the Russia Premier League.
The sports complex is located at 2 Kopilova Street, in Tatarstan, Kazan, several blocks away from Kazan Arena. A giant 'M' from McDonald's will catch the attention of Japanese fans who frequent that area, just a few meters from the stadium.
The team led by Shinji Kagawa (Borussia Dortmund) has been placed in Group H, along with Poland, Senegal, and Colombia.
Since 1998, Japan has not missed a World Cup. (D)
