The Peruvian National Team receives bad news
The Peruvian National Team received bad news. Alberto Rodríguez will miss the two friendlies against Croatia and Iceland due to an injury. The team's doctor, Julio Segura, made the announcement that leaves the defender out of both matches.
"Alberto Rodríguez has a muscle injury, a tear (left leg). We have already communicated with his team and we hope he recovers as soon as possible. He is undergoing treatment and will not be available for both matches. It is not a serious injury, but it is a tear that ranges from small to moderate," said the doctor on CMD.

The team doctor did not dare to give a prognosis of the time it will take for the player to recover. He also explained why the injury was not detected in Colombia.
"There was not enough time for the appropriate studies. They sent an ultrasound, but it did not reveal anything about the muscles and calves. The damage is deeper, and an MRI is better for detecting this type of injury," commented Julio Segura.
The doctor also spoke about the recovery of Raúl Ruidíaz, who was able to train normally. "Raúl Ruidiaz is much better, he played football and was able to put on his shoe. We hope he is fully recovered by Friday. We have been taking great care of him," he added.
Pedro Gallese is finishing the final part of his rehabilitation, the doctor also said, "We hope that he can be available for the other matches." Paolo Hurtado has recovered from the long flight and time zone change and also trained normally.
