Ricardo Gareca is a firm believer in divinity and, of course, in superstitions. He wears a rosary around his neck and has a bracelet on his hand that "brings him luck". And it is precisely destiny that will decide his luck in the draw that FIFA will make for the groups that will be formed to play the 2018 Russia World Cup.
Of course, everyone wants an 'accessible' group; that is, with teams that are not as heavy as Germany or Portugal, who in theory are seen as serious candidates to win the World Cup.
In that sense, Gareca was interviewed by Fox Sports and preferred to leave his luck in the hands of destiny, regarding the draw that will take place this Friday from 10:00 a.m.
- "Russia, Peru, Iceland, Saudi Arabia. Do you sign it?" asked the commentator from Fox to Gareca.
- "We will wait. Sometimes one says that and it doesn't come true. We will wait [laughs]," answered the coach of the Peruvian National Team.
