Pedro Gallese talked to 'Movistar Deportes' in the mixed zone of the National Stadium after the victory of the Peruvian National Team, which meant qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. He recognized everything they had to go through to achieve the coveted dream.
"We suffered a lot to reach the World Cup, now it's time to enjoy it, I'm happy for the group that was formed. It seems like a dream but we are in Russia."
The #1 of the Peruvian National Team stated that he dedicates this achievement to all the fans and to his family, who were always there in the most difficult moments.
"I thought of the family that suffered so much and the people who supported us," Pedro Gallese concluded.
The Peruvian National Team qualified for the World Cup after 36 years since their last participation in Spain 1982, and it will be their fifth appearance in the World Cup after also playing in Uruguay 1930, Mexico 1970, and Argentina 1978.
