The Australian delegation arrived in Honduras with great concern to face the first leg of the repechage for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. In part, this was due to the press in their country, who pointed out that the Central Americans were violent and aggressive.
With that in mind, the Australian team arrived in San Pedro Sula. The surprise was great when they realized that the Honduran people had nothing against them. Not even the press mistreated them.
In Australia's training sessions, the atmosphere remained the same. No seasoned fan appeared in the training sessions to confront and intimidate them because of the comments made by FOX Sports.
