ISIS threatens to attack World Cup 2018
The Islamic State has once again threatened to attack the World Cup 2018 in Russia, but this time their warning included Argentinean Lionel Messi.
The SITE website, dedicated to monitoring extremists, shared the publication made by the WAFA Media Foundation, the propaganda arm of the terrorist group, where the Argentinean forward appears behind bars, dressed as a prisoner with blood in his left eye.
The media unit of Pro-#ISIS "Wafa" released a threat regarding the FIFA World Cup 2018 using the image of #Messi as a prisoner
This is not the first time that ISIS has threatened terrorist attacks at next year's World Cup in Russia. Last week, messages were released where the terrorists warned about their plans.
"Wait for us," reads the message in both Russian and Arabic, along with an image of a terrorist with an assault rifle, a bomb with the ISIS flag, and the official logo of the upcoming World Cup.
