Leonardo Jardim, Monaco coach, announced in a press conference that he will not consider Radamel Falcao Garcia for the match on Friday against Lyon due to the load that the Colombian has from long trips and tough matches with the Colombian national team.
"He recently played with Colombia and trying to make him play on Friday after the different trips could kill him. He won't play, although his physical condition could allow him to play two games in 48 hours," highlighted the Monegasque coach.
Falcao played both matches for the Colombian national team against Paraguay and Peru, in the last round of the South American Qualifiers in which the Colombian team secured their spot in the World Cup. El Tigre was vital for Colombia to qualify for the 2014 World Cup.
"He deserves to play in a World Cup. He is a hard worker and a player of great quality. I congratulate him for the qualification. But I know his level will not change, I will do everything for him to continue at his best level," Jardim added about the top scorer in French football.
