This is not the first time Benediktsson shouts with emotion one of the goals of the Icelandic national team, as in the last edition of the Eurocup he became known for his peculiar way of narrating a match of the Nordic team.
Iceland qualified for the 2018 World Cup as the leader of Group I with 22 points, ahead of Croatia, who obtained the playoff by scoring 20 points.
