Peru vs. Colombia: If we lose, is it possible to reach the playoff to go to the World Cup?

After Peru's important draw (0-0) against Argentina and Paraguay's surprising victory (2-1) in their visit to Colombia, Peruvian fans have begun to wonder about the national team's chances of reaching the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

But what would happen if the Peruvian team loses in Lima?
If in the worst case scenario the national team falls to Colombia in Lima, they would have to hope that Argentina loses to Ecuador and that Paraguay cannot defeat Venezuela in Asuncion.

If the first scenario occurs, Argentina would remain with 25 points, while Paraguay would have 24 or 25 points. However, the Paraguayans have a negative goal difference, which undoubtedly affects them greatly.
