FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (KAIT) - Two Fast Break Friday Night stars filled up the box score for Arkansas women’s basketball.
Izzy Higginbottom dropped 29 points Thursday night as the Razorbacks beat UT Arlington 93-65. The Batesville native also chipped in 6 assists and 5 rebounds. Higginbottom is averaging 23 points per game this season, good for 3rd in the SEC.
Jenna Lawrence recorded her 3rd double-double of the season. The former Melbourne Lady Bearkat had 14 points and 12 rebounds in the victory. Lawrence was 4 of 5 behind the arc.
3-1 Arkansas heads west to face #5 UCLA. Tipoff is Sunday at 6:30pm, the game will be televised on Big Ten Network.
