The brand-new three-time world champion Max Verstappen conquered the 50th victory of his career by winning this Sunday a strategic United States Formula 1 Grand Prix.
The Red Bull driver, who started in the third row, made his way to take control of the race and crossed the finish line 2.225 seconds ahead of the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes).
Lando Norris from McLaren finished third.
Sunday's victory was the world champion's third consecutive victory at the Circuit of the Americas, which also crowned him on Saturday in the sprint race.
"Starting from sixth position made things a little more difficult," said the Dutch driver, who was "very proud" to win his 50th Grand Prix.
