Honduras' coach, Colombian Reinaldo Rueda, has called up 26 players for the matches of the Concacaf's League on October 12, as an away match against Cuba, and on the 17th, at home.

Among Rueda's called-up players, 13 play for foreign clubs and 13 belong to Honduran league teams. The new players in the Colombian coach's squad are: Alberth Elis, Romell Quioto, Bryan Róchez, Rigoberto Rivas, and Kervin Arriaga.

Honduras will visit Cuba on October 12 in the Dominican Republic and will host them three days later at the José de la Paz Herrera Stadium in Tegucigalpa.

After two matches, Honduras is third in Group B of the Concacaf Nations League A with 3 points, behind Cuba and Jamaica who have 4.

The top two teams in this group will advance to the round of eight along with the winners of Group A and the four pre-qualified teams based on FIFA's ranking: Canada, United States, Mexico, and Costa Rica.

In the 2023-24 Concacaf Nations League, the bottom two teams from the six-team groups in League A will be relegated to League B, while the last team in each group of League B will be relegated to League C.
