Benjamin Cremaschi, the Argentine descent youngster, made his debut in the USA senior national team, in the 4-0 victory over Oman.
The 18-year-old midfielder was born in Miami, but his parents are Argentine. He became notable in recent times for being a teammate of Lionel Messi at Inter Miami.
Cremaschi had been on the bench in the friendly against Uzbekistan, but did not enter. Instead, this Tuesday they gave him the opportunity to add his first minutes: he came on at the 71st minute, replacing Malik Tillman, when the match was already 2-0.
He did not have the opportunity to participate in any important action or take shots on goal, but the match has already started to add to his final decision on which country he wants to represent, something that, for now, he had said he was not sure about. With two more matches for the USA, he would already be protected.
The 18-year-old player, author of the penalty that gave Inter Miami the victory over Dallas, talks about what it's like to have Lionel Messi as a teammate.
From the North American association they anticipated it and Cremaschi has already been called up to the U19 National Team in 2022 and later to the U20.
