USC is ranked No. 6 in the latest AP Top 25 poll, released on Tuesday.
It did not move from its preseason ranking.
The Trojans won their Week 0 matchup with San Jose State 56-28. Then they turned around and blasted Nevada 66-14. Quarterback Caleb Williams has thrown nine touchdown passes to open the year, all without an interception.
Things are moving along smoothly for Lincoln Riley in Year 2. And even though the defense hasn’t been forcing turnovers at the same rate it did a year ago, that group has found other ways to affect the game.
The Trojans are the highest-ranked Pac-12 team in the AP poll.
They’re joined by No. 8 Washington, No. 12 Utah, No. 13 Oregon, No. 16 Oregon State, and No. 22 Colorado.
