A Victory in the Midst of the Difficult Situation

Our athletes always represent our country well in every competition they participate in. This time, Hugo Del Castillo won a gold medal in the 2nd WTPA Poomsae Live.

Hugo Del Castillo, also a medalist in the Lima 2019 Pan American Games, achieved first place in the virtual taekwondo championship held on July 25 and 26.

"Two days before Patriotic Holidays, I competed in this championship, which is an initiative by the WT Pan America (Pan American Taekwondo Federation) to continue with virtual Poomsae competitions," said Hugo.

On the other hand, Peruvian Rodrigo Subauste obtained a bronze medal in the cadet male category in this championship. It is worth mentioning that 1500 athletes from 20 Latin American countries participated in the event.
