Table Tennis: Peruvian Federation announces the team that will compete in the Lima Pre-Olympic [PHOTOS]

The road to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games has already begun for Peruvian athletes. And from Friday, October 25th to Sunday, 27th, the national table tennis team will have the opportunity to secure their spot for the Japanese event.

During those dates, the Polideportivo 1 of the Centro de Alto Rendimiento (CAR) de La Videna will be the venue for the Pre-Olympic Championship. This tournament will only award two tickets to Tokyo 2020: one to the winning men's team and one to the winning women's team.

In the Peruvian case, the men's quartet of table tennis players will be formed by Felipe Duffoo, Rodrigo Hidalgo, Jhon Loli, and Adolfo Cuccho; while in the women's team, there will be María Maldonado, Ana Aragón, Mariagrazia La Torre, and Lucciana Cisneros.

Peru will face the best teams from all over Latin America. It won't be an easy tournament; however, the red and white team arrives with experience after participating in the Lima 2019 Pan American Games. Let's go, guys!
