Mc Leod joined the team made up of Yadhira Anchante, Carolina Takahashi, Janelly Ceopa, María José Rojas, María Fernanda López-Torres, Lizanyela López, Camila Pérez, Alondra Alarcón, Antuanette Arteaga, Carolina Milla, and Andrea Calderón.
The 'matadorcitas' are placed in Group D of the competition along with Bulgaria, Democratic Republic of Congo, Japan, and Turkey.
And in this 16th edition, they will strive to improve their fourth place obtained in 1993 and 2013, and lead Peru to the top spot currently held by the Italian team.
