Renato Tapia: Other Peruvian football players accused of refusing to acknowledge their children.

Renato Tapia was accused by a young woman of refusing to acknowledge his child, causing great astonishment among national soccer fans; however, the so-called 'Captain of the Future' is not the only soccer player in the country accused of refusing to recognize his child. Jefferson Farfán

Former Alianza Lima striker, Jefferson Farfán, also experienced a similar case to Renato Tapia's. Several years ago, his ex-partner Mercedes Carrasco filed a paternity lawsuit to acknowledge their first daughter, in 2006 when the soccer player shone in PSV Eindhoven.

Fortunately, the relationship between Farfán and his daughter is one of the best, and on social media, 'La Foquita' proudly shares images alongside his first daughter.

Carlos Cáceda

Continuing with the Peruvian national team, another member of the 'blanquirroja' experienced a situation similar to what Renato Tapia is going through. This is Melgar goalkeeper Carlos Cáceda. His ex-partner detailed that the goalkeeper refused to recognize their second child because he had started a relationship with 'Puma' Carranza's daughter.

Ray Sandoval

Controversial forward Ray Sandoval was also accused of not recognizing his child. Like in Renato Tapia's case, 'Rayo' was denounced for paternity in 2018 by volleyball player Karla Moreno. On that occasion, Dr. Rosario Sasieta stated that a DNA test confirmed Ray's paternity.
