"When they buy you, things can go well or bad. I arrive at 'Muni' with a lot of desire, I really wanted to come to have more minutes, play more, and do what I like the most, which is scoring goals", stated Diego Mayora in an interview with "Gol Perú".

He also mentioned that he has been working hard during the pre-season training with Colón de Santa Fe, so he arrives with good physical rhythm to earn a spot in Deportivo Municipal's starting lineup.
"Physically, I'm doing great. I did the preseason. I'm coming to a serious club, I heard many things and that encouraged me a lot", he added.
Diego Mayora arrived at Colón de Santa Fe in mid-last year thanks to his 19 goals scored with the 'Powerful Alto Mayo'. However, in Argentina he couldn't adapt and only played 17 minutes.
