The tragedy that mourns Chapecoense club not only served to test the level of solidarity in the sports world. Unfortunately, it also showed the shortcomings of many so-called fans, both in sports and personal level. It happened on Twitter.
For quite some time, 'memes' pages have become popular, which are based on popular humor to make criticisms, mockery and comments on current events. Although many have gone overboard, they always defend themselves by appealing to "dark humor", "satire" or jokes.
However, one of the latest messages from the account "Pk" (@MemesDelPeru) on Twitter sparked the indignation of its own followers by using the accident that occurred in Brazil as a pretext to mock Alianza Lima club.
"Too bad the plane that suffered the accident was from Chapecoense and not Alianza Lima, we would have gotten rid of a shame for Peru," was the message that immediately generated a wave of strong criticism and rejection on Twitter.
However, among them, one stood out, made by a fan of Universitario de Deportes, Alianza Lima's arch-rival in Peruvian football, who strongly condemned the wrongfulness of the anonymous publisher.
"I am a fan of U and what you have written disgusts me. It's not black humor, it's pure human misery." Two sides of a coin, illustrated from the tragedy.
