After the match against Alianza Atlético, Guido Bravo spoke at a press conference and revealed that he has offered his position as sports director.
On social media, an internet user indicated that Diego Rebagliati will return to Sporting Cristal to assume the sports management. The panelist commented on this and stated that he is not interested in the position because he is happy with what he currently does.
"I am not interested in returning as sports manager of the club. It is a job for younger people than me. Being the manager of Sporting Cristal was a wonderful stage of my life, but I am happy with what I do today," said Rebagliati on X (formerly Twitter).

Facing the accusation of being a partner of Universitario, Diego Rebagliati denied it. The sports commentator indicated that he has been a fan of Sporting Cristal since he wore the team's jersey.
"I was never a partner of Universitario. My father was not a member of 'U' either. I became a fan of Sporting Cristal because I played for the club in '94 and '96, a detail you forgot to mention. I became an even bigger fan because of what I experienced in the '02 and '05 titles and because of the drama we went through in '07. It also helped that my two children were also fans of Sporting Cristal," he said.
