Sport Boys has spoken out about the deduction of points that compromises them in relation to the relegation issue.

With only one match left in the Clausura Tournament, everything seemed to indicate that tranquility had arrived for Sport Boys. Yes, the chalaco team had shaken off the issue of relegation and was only focused on closing the season in the best possible way. However, in the last few hours, that whole panorama changed: the Licensing Commission notified them that four points had been deducted from the pink club, putting their place in the Liga 1 Betsson at risk.

In response, the 'Misilera' used their official digital platforms to make their position known.

"Unfortunately, the Licensing Commission has sanctioned, a year and a month later, the obligations that had legal and financial protection, thanks to the Exceptional Sports Regime that the institution held and various legal effects that occurred over time", began the pink statement.

In the same line, Sport Boys added that "it is striking that, despite issuing arguments and pronouncements in an oral hearing, none of them were analyzed or even cited for better resolution".

The matches for survival

The match between Deportivo Municipal and Cantolao is scheduled for this Saturday, starting at 1:00 pm, at the Iván Elías Moreno stadium in Villa El Salvador. Two hours later, Sport Boys will host Cienciano at the Miguel Grau stadium. One day later, it will be the turn of Unión Comercio, a squad that will visit Atlético Grau on Sunday the 29th, starting at 3:00 pm.

Note: it is not ruled out that there may be a modification in the match schedule due to the fact that the mentioned teams will once again be playing for survival in the Liga 1 Betsson, so they would play their matches simultaneously.
