This Sunday, October 22nd, Reimond Manco made his official debut with Ecosem Pasco in the Copa Perú 2023, during the match against Vraem FC, for the round of 16. The 'Rei' entered the game at the 14th minute of the second half and was important in the 5-1 victory: he provided an excellent assist in his team's fifth goal, showing that, despite being away from the field for a while, he still knows it and can make a difference. It is worth mentioning that the Pasco team reversed the result from the first leg, which ended 2-0 in favor of the opponent.
The former Alianza Lima player had nearly half an hour of playing time at the Daniel Alcides Carrión stadium, and he didn't waste a single minute to showcase his skills. After warming up, and with the series still alive (the aggregate score was 4-0 and his team was only one goal ahead), Manco made the 'disdainful pass' and left Quilian Meléndez alone to score the 5-0.
It is important to mention that Meléndez was the standout player of the match, scoring a brace. The other goals for Ecosem Pasco were scored by Patrick Dávila, Pedro Martinez, and Victor Jiménez. Thus, the blue and red team, now with Reimond on their squad, advanced to the round of 16 of the National Stage 2023. Of course, with the inclusion of 'Rei', they are now one of the favorites to win the tournament.
