However, the celestes have a five-goal advantage over the 'íntimos' and that puts them in third place.

The team led by Jorge Fossati will visit Cusco FC in Cusco this Saturday starting at 8:00 pm. Undoubtedly, a complicated venue, especially considering that the Inca team has not lost at home so far this season.

However, the 'merengues' have the peace of mind that they do not depend on other results. They only need to win to continue as the sole leaders in the Clausura Tournament standings, regardless of what the other three clubs can do in their respective matches.

FBC Melgar

The team from Arequipa rests on this matchday and therefore is unable to earn points. They have no way of becoming the leaders in the standings, but they could continue in second place if Universitario, Alianza Lima and Sporting Cristal lose their respective matches. The blanquiazul team will host ADT at Matute this Saturday at 4:00 pm. and they maintain the hope of winning the Clausura Tournament to become automatic tricampeón. To be the sole leaders at the end of this matchday, the 'íntimos' need Universitario to lose against Cusco FC and for Sporting Cristal to draw or lose against Cienciano.

Likewise, the blanquiazules can be leaders along with the 'U' and Cristal if the 'cremas' draw and the celestes earn three points in their respective matches. However, due to goal difference, the victorianos would be surpassed by their rivals, since the ones from Ate have (+18) and the ones from Rímac (+16).
