Universitario de Deportes has a complicated task if they want to continue having great chances of winning the Clausura Tournament 2023, by defeating Cusco FC who hasn't known what it's like to lose on their home turf this year against teams from outside their city.
The team led by Jorge Fossati arrived on the afternoon of October 20th in the imperial city, where they will try to acclimate themselves in the best possible way and not suffer during the 90 minutes of the match. However, the reception of the Cream delegation was tarnished by an embarrassing moment.
A Cusco fan recorded the arrival of 'U' at the airport to hurl a series of insults, to which Jean Ferrari - the club's administrator - surprisingly reacted by addressing the person in question with strong language before taking different paths. This video quickly went viral on different social networks.
Universitario arrived in Cusco with almost the entire squad available. The only absence confirmed by the Uruguayan strategist a few days earlier is that of Roberto Siucho due to a health problem. The rest of the team is in optimal conditions and with the desire to win.
