In the midst of this context, the Uruguayan strategist highlighted the team's good form and made it clear that he will arrive without any absences for the match this Saturday at the Garcilaso de la Vega stadium.

"At the moment, we're doing well, although there was a player like (Alexander) Succar who wasn't completely fit, but he had been training normally before the break, now it coincided that we didn't have players to recover, everyone is fine and we hope that the Peruvian National Team players return in the best way," said the coach in an interview with Radio Ovación.

Jorge Fossati is aware that not all players from Universitario de Deportes who were called up to the national team could arrive at their best moment, so these days of training will be key to change their mentality and reintegrate them into the objective set by the cream team.

"Usually, it happens that the work time they have with the national team is different from how they work in the club, since the emphasis is placed on tactics and there is little physical demand, causing the player who does not participate to return to his team a little physically deteriorated," he added.

On the other hand, the coach of Universitario de Deportes considers the remaining dates of the Clausura Tournament important, although he also knows that there will be no time to correct later, since the defining stage reduces the margin of error between the teams that aspire to win the national title.

"It is understandable and logical that, being the last matches, all clubs have less margin for error and it seems that these points are more vital for the objectives since there is no time to recover them later. It increases the anxiety a bit, but I think we have a squad with experienced players and they have always been told the same thing," added the Uruguayan strategist.
