After securing their place in the final by defeating Binacional, Alianza Lima is not satisfied and maintains their expectations of winning the Clausura Tournament of Liga 1 Betsson. Pablo Míguez made his position clear in Juliaca.

Alianza Lima played a smart game in the altitude of Juliaca and finally it paid off, as they defeated Deportivo Binacional with a double by Hernán Barcos. It was tough, but the 'blanquiazules' stuck to their plan and easily neutralized the home team (the 'íntimos' have already registered nine undefeated games in the 'Mauricio Larriera era').
