Goalkeeper Erick Delgado is one of the Peruvian players who has had the opportunity to defend the goal for various teams in the national tournament, such as Sporting Cristal, Juan Aurich, Deportivo Municipal, Universidad San Martín, UTC de Cajamarca, and Academia Cantolao.

Although the 'Loco' defended the goal for several teams, one of the institutions he was most associated with was the 'Ciclón del Norte,' where he played in two different seasons. And it was precisely Delgado who made a confession while being interviewed by 'Cuto' Guadalupe on a program for Trome, about a moment that marked his career.

The goalkeeper stated that he felt betrayed when Aurich decided to call Pedro Gallese when he was a part of the team. "I left Aurich feeling a little upset because they signed Gallese. He went in 2015, but before that, they hired him, I never knew how the situation unfolded. I never found out from them, but from other people," he commented.

In addition, he compared that situation to what happened when he was a part of Sporting Cristal. "I was going to play in the final, and I found out about this, which is not right. I felt betrayed because I was experiencing almost the same thing I went through in Sporting Cristal. So I say, we are human beings, we are not machines," he added.

Currently, Erick Delgado does not have a team, and the last team he signed with was Academia Cantolao, where he left in late 2021.
