The Judicial Power (JP) accepts lawsuit by former footballer Guillermo "Chicho" Salas against Alianza Lima

The Judicial Power (JP) has accepted the lawsuit filed by former footballer and football coach, Guillermo "Chicho" Salas, against his beloved club, Alianza Lima, for unfair dismissal, non-payment of personal benefits, and moral damages, among others.

According to the Depor newspaper, the judicial resolution declares "the admission of the lawsuit in the Ordinary Labor Process filed by Guillermo Sandro Salas Suárez against Alianza Lima, regarding contract misrepresentation and others; the evidence presented in the lawsuit document is accepted".

It is worth mentioning that, on September 8th, the 22nd Specialized Permanent Labor Court declared the lawsuit filed by the Peruvian coach inadmissible because the copy of the ID provided by "Chicho" for the judicial record was illegible.

After this, the Judicial Power granted a period of five business days for the coach to rectify this error and resubmit his lawsuit.

When is the Conciliation Hearing?

The Judicial Power has scheduled the conciliation hearing for January 12th, 2024, starting from 3:00 pm. Thus, Salas' lawsuit against Alianza Lima will continue its course.
