Police officers arrested the former Alianza Lima player while he was in a gym in Cusco with his current team members.
This Monday morning, the National Police of Peru (PNP) detained football player Alexi Gomez while he was training with his current team Deportivo Garcilaso for having an outstanding warrant for assault against a woman, under the modality of physical violence.
INTERRUPTION
The intervention against the former Alianza Lima player occurred while he was in a gym with his current club teammates.
Alexi Gomez was taken to the detention center of the Judiciary of Cusco, where he will be held until a court makes a decision about his future.
The former Universitario football player was present in the match between Deportivo Garcilaso and Cusco FC, a match that his team won 2-1.
It is worth mentioning that during the current season, Gomez has been able to play 23 matches as a starter and had scored three goals.
