We are just a few days away from seeing the Peruvian national team debut in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. The first opponent to overcome will be Paraguay in Ciudad del Este; then, we will host Brazil in Lima. Below we present you the complete fixture of the 'blanquirroja' in this new process.
Remember that the 2026 World Cup, organized by Mexico, the United States, and Canada, has been expanded to include 48 participating countries. It will have a first phase with 12 groups of four teams each. It is also important to highlight that it will go from 64 matches to 104.
Due to this change in format, CONMEBOL will receive one more spot for the World Cup; that is, it will go from 5.5 to 6.5 (six teams qualify directly and the seventh goes to the playoffs).
