Alicia Mercado, who will be the actress in charge of portraying the character of Susy Díaz, was invited to the program 'Somos NDG' and surprised by confessing that she didn't want to accept the role, but the approval of the former showgirl convinced her.
"Like Peter, I refused 3 times to make the movie. I didn't want to because it made me nervous. I didn't want to study the character because I didn't want to get into the process yet, it made me very nervous. But (Susy) has seen me transformed, she has seen me portray her and she has said 'just like her'", she confessed.
Furthermore, although she is happy with her work, Alicia Mercado assures that she will not see herself in the cinema the same way the public will. "One is their worst critic. I won't look the same as everyone else. I know I'm a good actress. It has taken me a lot to convince myself of that and sometimes it's still hard for me", she added.
